What FPE does
Construction is complex. In Finland, it involves specific standards, procurement frameworks and building regulations that are hard to navigate without local expertise. FPE fills that gap.
FPE has no loyalty to contractors or designers. We represent only the client's interest throughout the entire project lifecycle. You get an unfiltered picture of what is actually happening.
Our BIM-based project management model (Projektinjohtomalli 2.0) gives you a live dashboard of progress, costs and quality — in your browser, without needing to trust filtered reports.

Engagement model
Before you commit, FPE can review the project brief, feasibility study or design proposals and provide an independent risk and cost assessment. No surprises after signing.
We manage the design team on your behalf: selecting architects and engineers, keeping quality and schedule on track. Where project parties are ready, we work towards the BIM model serving as the primary contract reference — reducing ambiguity and disputes significantly.
Expert inspections, quality documentation and progress tracking — with the goal of tying as much as possible directly to the BIM model. The depth of model-based tracking is agreed upfront based on what all project parties can commit to. At handover, the aim is a structured model ready for facility management.
You don't need to engage FPE for the whole project. We can provide a single expert review, a specific structural design service, or full lifecycle advisory — whatever the situation demands.
Our difference

The approach below represents where we are headed — how far we can go in each project depends on the readiness of all parties involved. That conversation is part of our process.
We work towards elevating the building information model to the primary contract reference. Scope boundaries, quality requirements and payment milestones tied to the model reduce disputes dramatically — how far this goes is agreed together at the start of each project.
The goal is for contractors to update installation statuses directly in the model, tying invoicing to confirmed installed items rather than estimated completion percentages. Achieving this requires all parties to align — FPE supports that change process.
Carbon footprint calculation and material efficiency are integrated from early design stages — not added as a compliance report at the end. Relevant for ESG-driven investors.
The design and construction model transfers directly to facility management systems. Your asset is managed from day one with complete, structured data.
